There comes a time in the life of every person when overwhelm arrives, accompanied by a feeling of imprisonment and a desire for liberation. In most cases, when that inner problem and dissatisfaction with oneself or with the life that one has, there are many escape routes that are applied.
“Escape” (2021) is about it, about the idea of liberation.
In this collection of black and white images, the human figure is explored in a very idealized way, where contours and shadows have a special role. It emphasizes ate management of natural light.
This body of work is based on the use of clean and simple lines combined with strong forms, resulting in an easy-to-read graphic that one gets to feel instantly.
